AVDA’s Board of Directors and staff invite you to join us by supporting AVDA’s 12th Annual Race For Hope. This year’s event will be held on Saturday, October 15th at Anchor Park (A1A) in Delray Beach. Last year’s attendance and contributions were record-breaking and we look forward to doing it again this year!

Runners, walkers, spectators and volunteers will join us as we celebrate AVDA’s 25 years of service to the community and our mission to promote violence-free relationships and social change by offering alternative choices to end violence and domestic abuse.

This fun-filled event is a great day for a family outing where all ages can participate in the 5K, Kids K, Fun Mile and our brand new 10K Run! We challenge local companies, schools and organizations to form teams and come out for a morning of fitness, food, entertainment and fabulous fun! To add to the excitement of the day, teams or individuals who raise the most funds are awarded prizes and the ever popular raffle prizes will also be returning!

At this time when we are seeing more people and receiving more phone calls than ever before, your support is greatly needed. Proceeds from AVDA’s Race For Hope benefit our 24-hour hotline, emergency shelter and Casa Vegso transitional housing facility and our outreach, educational and prevention programs offered throughout Palm Beach County.

We encourage you to join the event as a runner, set up a team, and/or create your own individual fundraising page.
