FOOD PANTRY

Through participating in this in-kind food supply, you can help AVDA stock the pantries in its Emergency Shelter and the Counseling and Advocacy Center. To make a food donation, please contact: (561) 265-3797 ext. 102.

CLOTHING AND HOUSEHOLD ITEMS

Donations of clothing, household items and furniture are another way to ease a survivor's transition from homelessness to independent living. Please click AVDA's Home Pick-Up to schedule a home pick-up.

911 CELL PHONE PROJECT

Donate your old cell phones for a good cause! Your donations of used cell phones with chargers are given to survivors who can not afford a cell phone. These phones give survivors the ability to call 911 in the event of an emergency. To set up a time to drop off your used cell phones, please call (561) 265-3797 ext. 107.

EVENTS

AVDA's 2008 5K Run/Walk
Help STOP Domestic Violence! Saturday, October 11, 2008, Anchor Park (A1A), Delray Beach. The AVDA 5K Run/Walk is held each year in Delray Beach along A1A. It's a great day for a family outing and all ages can participate in the 5K, which is only 3.1 miles long! Get out those running/walking shoes! We challenge local companies, schools and organizations to form teams and participate! To add to the excitement of the day, teams or individuals who raise the most funds are awarded prizes. Proceeds support AVDA's Emergency Shelter, Transitional Housing and Outreach Programs.

Holiday Programs and Holiday Giving Programs
These programs allow individuals and businesses to extend kindness during the holiday season by giving to those AVDA serves. Donors can pledge a financial contribution or provide food, clothing, holiday decorations, toys or other items.
